Tiger 3 is a Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. The film stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. It is a sequel to Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and is the fifth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. The film is set after the events of War (2019), and Pathaan (2023).

The latest edition of the Yash Raj spy universe, Tiger 3, hits theatres. It is only natural that the audience will have expectations. Audiences can also expect cameo appearances by universe characters and high-octane action. Tiger 3 offers such pieces and also does not stray from the spy universe.

Story wise Tiger 3 mostly revolves around Tiger’s family. The first half revolves around the problems of wife Zoya and son Junior and struggles with the weaknesses of the screenplay. But entertained by the production quality and some action scenes. In Second half,The long climax portion and an interesting cameo save the movie. The cameo appearance action block struggled with over-the-top , but it was still impactful because of the characters’ legacy.

Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi are also the saving graces. Salman Khan and Katrina are terrific in action scenes. Katrina Kaif’s most expected towel action piece was impressive. The presence of a good villain is half done in mass action movies; Emraan Hashmi handled the antagonist role beautifully.

The YFX team’s VFX, Mayur Sharma’s production design, and Anay Goswamy’s camera give the film a rich feel.Music-wise, even if it is a bad album in the Tiger Franchise, the songs composed by Pritam were not bad. Tanuj Tiku wins applause using Julius Packiam’s iconic tiger BGM. However, he has not been able to make a signature of his own.

The Richard Burden, Mark Scizak, and Chris Barnes trio’s action scenes were over-the-top at many points, but the character canvas justified the said action scenes. Admittedly, Manish Sharma’s directorial quality has been questioned, and the screenplay and spy universe interlinking in Tiger3 have created more problems in the film

BottomlineΒ

Tiger is tired of family problems. Some action pieces and 2nd half saves.
