Mirai is a Telugu-language fantasy action-adventure film written and directed by Karthik Gattamneni. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory, the film stars Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu and Jayaram.

Karthik Gattamneni is indeed making a significant impact in Telugu cinema with his remarkable direction and cinematography skills. His ability to blend mythological elements with modern storytelling is creating visually stunning films, and his latest work, Mirai, is a testament to this.

The film kicks off with a terrific first half, where mythological and historical fantasy elements mix perfectly by writer-cum-director Karthik Gattamneni. Teja Sajja and Manoj Manchu easily pull in the proceedings, making it gripping – highlighted by an extraordinary interval block that grabs attention. The interval VFX is spellbounding and perhaps never seen before in Indian cinema.

The second half is okay because the narration seems flat and exciting moments are low till the climax… but still, the music and visuals hold the film steadily. It redeems itself with a standout climax. The divine touch in the climax and VFX surprises are the main high points. Like many movies, it had its flaws – but here’s the clincher: its technical brilliance overcomes those shortcomings.

The VFX, visuals, and music are simply stunning, elevating the adventure fantasy elements. Action blocks are well executed and performed well. Shriya’s presence adds emotional weight to the film… Ritika Nayak also does her role perfectly, seeming to contribute to the romantic angle.

Bottomline
Perfect adventure-fantasy entertainer, Winner!!
