Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire is a  American epic space opera film directed by Zack Snyder from a screenplay he co-wrote with Kurt Johnstad and Shay Hatten, based on a story Snyder conceived. The film features an ensemble cast that includes Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Michiel Huisman, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher, Charlie Hunnam, and Anthony Hopkins. The film is set in a fictional galaxy ruled by the Motherworld, in which its military, the Imperium, threatens a farming colony on the moon Veldt, and Kora, a former Imperium soldier, ventures on a quest to recruit warriors from across the galaxy to make a stand against the Imperium before they return to Veldt.

Rebel Moon -Part 1,everything we have seen . It does resemble the Star Wars world, which has already become boring by now. Zack always had a great eye for imagery; visuals speak for themselves, but it’s not something I’ve seen before. Rebels are recruiting warriors to fight against the mother world, like Magnificent. Predictable plots and cliched dialogue make it even worse. The only tension created scene was the minor plot twist before the final act. Typical Snyder overuse of slow motion fails to create drama, and the only characters I cared about have virtually no screen time.

Rebel Moon offers some cool visuals, and we’ll design aliens. This is the positive part of the movie. Snyder created an interesting universe and characters, cool alien designs, and a compelling hook. But take time to build a world that drags and falls short of expectations.

Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon lacks emotional impact but definitely offers a sequel, and this is where the war is going to happen. Of course, Rebel Moon is a missed opportunity for a standout space saga, but it definitely has an audience and they look forward to the next one because Snyder created a world that is something special in Rebel Moon, and some characters deserved much more time and better treatment.

Bottomline

Falls short of expectations, lacks emotional punch!!
