Making an action movie is not just about stuffing some action blocks; the idea succeeds when the story demands action and interacts with the audience emotionally. That’s where the action-packed RDX wins at the beginning. The movie connects emotionally with the audience through the premise of the old cliched story. The chemistry of the lead actors has also helped to some extent. The performance of the trio of Neeraj Madhav, Antony Varghese and Shane Nigam in the action scenes also complemented the terrific action blocks by Anb Ariv.The non-stop action may give family audiences headaches. Sam’s music succeeds in elevating the action-emotional scenes.
The director Nahas Hidayath has also tried to create high points in each interval, but not everything succeeds completely. But the director has managed to achieve the high moments required by the film. RDX also shows how to utilize veteran actors like Lal and Babu Antony. Mahima Nambiar’s performance was decent, and Mahima’s portions in the climax rocked the theatres. Aima Sebastian graced the limited role. All the actors who came as goons played an important role in giving the movie a wild mood, especially the main antagonist.
The film has all the ingredients of a mass action entertainer.Struggles after the initial stage. Contrary to the mood of the first half, the film goes off track. Compared to the other two stars, Neeraj Madhav have limited screen time in the movie and the reason or not any justification visible there.The average script and lack of logic are the other weaknesses of RDX.
