This film begins promisingly, drawing the audience in with its initial scenes. However, it fails to sustain this momentum, losing steam before the interval. The plot wanders aimlessly, lacking clear direction and leaving viewers confused. The lead pair’s conflict requires more substantial reasoning, and the message falls short, feeling half-baked.
Despite the team’s meticulous research being evident in the technical aspects, the execution lacks believability and emotional connection due to unnecessary drama. The lead pair’s chemistry is a highlight, but their conflict needs better justification. Unfortunately, the hero’s characterization in the second half is inconsistent and borders on mockery.
The music by Sam CS is good, but the background score fails to make any lasting impact. The production design is full of artificial setups, making it feel like the story takes place in a foreign country. Most of the time, the locations feel like advertisements for villas, detracting from the overall cinematic experience.
Unnimukundan delivers a neat performance, bringing some much-needed credibility to the film. Nikhila Vimal’s expressions feel repetitive and lack the desired depth. The rest of the cast performs their roles satisfactorily, but fails to leave a lasting impression.
Ultimately, this film is a mixed bag with potential, but it falls short of expectations. With some refinement in the plot, conflict, and production design, this film could have been a compelling watch. As it stands, it’s an average film that fails to leave a lasting impact.
