Fight Club is a Tamil-language film directed by Abbas A. Rahmath, in his directorial debut, and produced by Aditya, under Reel Good Films. It stars Vijay Kumar and Monisha Mohan Menen in the lead roles, along with Kartheekeyan Santhanam and Shankar Thas in supporting roles.

Fight Club is a perfect example of the impact ,editing can have on a film. A very thin plot was made very vibrant by utilizing the possibilities of non-linear editing. Govind Vasantha’s terrific BGM and music and Leon Britto’s visuals give the film a fresh vibe. ‘Ravanamavan song’ placement, and interval Staging was also the peak moment of the movie.

Vijayakumar and some newcomers showed strength in their performances. Action scenes make an impact on ‘A’ certificate label without giving space to the scissors of the censor board.

While all the above factors make the film strong,Things go awry in the second half. The predictable plot and the eagerness to finish near the climax make the film more messy. Vetrimaran’s Vadachennai vibe is also there, and the movie ends in an okay mode without showing its potential.
