The Road is a Tamil-language film directed by Arun Vaseegaran and produced by AAA Cinemaa, starring Trisha, Shabeer and Santhosh Prathap.

Trisha’s The Road follows all the rules of a woman-centric film. The movie starts out very predictable and moves along with an interesting incident. Two plots that are told in parallel .The director manages to progress very interestingly and end it smoothly with twists and turns.

The presence of Shabeer Ahmed and the music of Sam Cs make the movie more interesting. Shabeer Ahmed’s excellent performance stands tall above the film.

The fact that the film has a lot of errors from start to finish in terms of story and execution in the last moments detracts from the excellent thriller experience. Lack of logic is also a major drawback. Trisha’s investigation part, which is confined to limited characters, leaves many questions.

Bottomline

The ride is not comfortable, even as the genre provides the thrill it needs.
