After a long wait of 4 years, the Radha krishna kumar-Prabhas-Pooja Hegde team’s big budget romantic drama has hit theaters. The film is produced by UV Creations and T Series.
Expectations
Radhe Shyam is a periodic romantic drama with a budget of Rs 300 crore, aimed at Prabha’s market, which has grown with the global success of Bahubali. Prabhas‘s last release, Saaho, had an average success in the South Indian market. But the film was a huge success in Bollywood belt. Therefore, Radha krishna kumar, who is familiar with only one film, has made the film simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu.
what works
Manoj paramahamsa‘s brilliant cinematography, Ravindar‘s production design and S Thaman‘s extraordinary bgm take the audience into a different world and feast for eyes. Jestin prabakaran’s songs and song placement are big plus. Pooja hegde as prerna is good. She masmerizing with her charming performance.
what not works
Interesting plot miserably failed to make an impact due to poor writing. Prabhas looks miscast and struggles most of the part.
