Purusha Pretham is a Malayalam movie written and directed by Krishand. The movie stars Prasanth Alexander,Jagadish,Darshana Rajendran, and Devaki Rajendran in lead roles. The film tells the story of a daring cop and his life condition. It also marks the third film of Krishand after Vruthakruthiyilulla Chathuram and Aavasa Vyuham.

Written by Ajith Haridas and produced by Mankind Cinemas, Einstin Media, Symmetry Cinema, and Prasanth Alexander, Krishand handled the cinematography of the film, while editing was done by Suhail Backer. Ajmal Jasbulla composed the music for the film.

Krishand establishes himself as a director to watch out for in this laugh riot of a third movie. Carrying off multiple genres is a difficult task, but Krishand succeeds admirably in his attempt. Ajith haridasΒ writing is crisp, the lines are real and funny, the characters are well-drawn, and the screenplay never gets boring. Furthermore, thanks in part to editor Suhail Backer, all characters are given the attention and screen space they deserve, but it is the director’s clarity of thought and vision that shines through.

Purusha Pretham marks a lead role entry for Prasant Alexander, and his chemistry with Jagadish is good to watch. Jagadish, who has a terrific screen presence and does a fabulous job in the movie, is a treat to watch. In fact, the other supporting actors, Dharasana Rajendran, devaki, and the rest of the cast, all deliver strong performances, eliciting laughter at regular intervals with their mannerisms and dialogue delivery.Β

Krishand, the director, impresses with his camera work, but it is Ajmal Jasbulla’s eclectic background score that elevates the film. Though the film includes a background score for each main character, the music will stick with you long after you’ve finished watching it. With a grin!!!

Bottomline

Purusha Pretham, once again, proves that content and presentation are the keys!! Must watch!!!
