Pichaikkaran 2  is a  Tamil-language action thriller film co-written, edited, directed, and music-composed by Vijay Antony in his directorial debut.The film stars Vijay Antony and Kavya Thapar with Radha Ravi, Y. G. Mahendran, Mansoor Ali Khan, Hareesh Peradi, John Vijay, Dev Gill and Yogi Babu in supporting roles.

After a very engaged first half where the story develops around the scientific ideal of brain transplantation, the film follows the formula of regular commercial movies. The second half falls apart as  tries to do justice to the Pichaikkaran franchise and silli in parts. Not only that, the VFX shots throughout the film were annoying; if real locations were selected, a better and better output would have been achieved. The logic errors in the film are also a burden.

The core idea and the brother-sister sentiment angle work And some dialogues were also worked on. Vijay Antony’s directorial excellence and execution deserve applause in the first half, but in the second half, the audience saw the spectacle of a novice crumbling under the limitations of a novice. Two flawless songs and Pichaikkaran-brand BGM were appropriate for the movie. All the performances were good, especially the child artists. Kavya Thapar is okay with her mature character. Although it can be said that the movie is apt for B and C centres, the movie gives a bad experience compared to the first part.
