What works
Palthu Janwar is good for its performances by leading actors. Especially Johny Antony ,He deserves a special mention. The other actors Basil joseph,Dileesh pothan and Indrans, did well despite reminding many of their past roles. The feel good factor worked out is the main asset of the movie. Climax is also well executed and brilliantly imposed the message. some comedy moments are also enjoyable.
What not works
Despite being a film aimed at the Onam season,Palthu Janwar‘s box office potential is limited. The less than two-hour movie often felt like a OTT product. The film tests the viewers at some points due to the drag.
Bottomline
Decent feel good film that could have tried an OTT release!!!!
