What works
The main attraction of the movie is the 2-3 twists in the last half hour. Those twists were also the lead-up to Part 1 and Part 3. Arvind Samy‘s comeback after a break in malayalam was also good.
What not works
Apart from the twists in the last half, Ottu is a travel movie that has nothing to remember or offer. It turned out to be a wet cracker despite the great twists, Due to Kunchacko Boban and Arvind Samy‘s lack of experience in action scenes, the audience gets a spoof feel to the action scenes. While the action sequences failed miserably, Kunchacko Boban seemed miscast. The movie ends without giving any special attraction to the audience for Part 1 and Part 3 to come.

The last minute twists could not have saved the movie!!
