The entire cast also shines, making this movie an absolute thrill ride. The action sequences are well-executed, and the cinematography is top-notch. If you’re planning to watch this movie, I highly recommend opting for a Laser projection screen to fully immerse yourself in the experience.
The Atmos mix is impressive, with some truly heart-pumping sequences that will keep you on the edge of your seat. One particular sound effect ā the hanging sound moving repetitively between different channels ā is especially noteworthy. Every actor delivers a strong performance, making this movie a true standout.
Hats off to Jithu Asharaf for his killer debut, and to Shahi Kabir for crafting a thriller that will keep you guessing until the very end. This time around, Shahi Kabir has delivered a proper commercial film, which is perhaps the aspect I enjoyed the most about Officer On Duty.
However, the movie does have one major drawback: it lacks solid writing in the second half. The revenge plot, in particular, is marred by several loopholes. Despite this, the movie remains a solid watch, thanks to its technically rich visuals, music, and action sequences.
Kunchacko Boban’s performance as Harishankar is undoubtedly one of the most versatile and emotionally intense characters he has portrayed in his career. Director Jithu Ashraf has skillfully tapped into Boban’s talent, bringing out his finest performance as an actor.
Shahi Kabir is known for his gripping police stories, and this time he has delivered once again, albeit with a more commercial touch. Kunchacko Boban shines in a never-before-seen avatar, making this movie an absolute must-watch.
