Nadhikalil Sundari Yamuna is a Malayalam comedy movie written and directed by Vijesh Panathur and Unni Vellora starring Dhyan Sreenivasan and Aju Varghese in the lead roles.The story is said to revolve around two individuals who have a healthy competition at a small town of Kannur in Kerala.

Dhyan Sreenivasan has been doing flop films for a row and then getting a chance again and again. He also realises that the film is not as successful as the interviews; it is the flaw of the content. Nadhikalil sundari yamuna brings some relief to the situation. Arguably the best of Dhyan’s recent films .

Nadhikalil sundari yamuna follows the path of village dramas that sprung up in Malayalam cinema in the 1990s. Dhyan Apt cast himself As a lighthearted family drama, the movie does justice to the genre. The Aju Varghese-Dhyan collaboration and the performances of other stars help the film. Surprisingly,Arun muraleedharan’s music excelled in all the songs.

 The slowness of the story and the slow narration are getting worse. The comedy track also takes cues from Srinivasan films of the 1990s and creates a cringe-worthy feel. 

Bottomline 

It’s not a great film, but still a better outing of Dhyan in recent times.
