Kacchey Limbu  is a  Hindi-language sports drama film written and directed by Shubham Yogi on his directorial debut. It stars Radhika Madan and Rajat Barmecha in the lead roles. The film explores about the life of siblings-brother and sister who are cricket crazy mad siblings and their bond. The film resembles similar to the shades of 2001 cricket based film Lagaan. The film was set in Mumbai.

Let’s go straight to the climax of the movie. It is an all-important gulley cricket tournament.  the outcome is hugely important in main character’s life. The observation having been made, since cinema is considered entertainment, entertainment is what the climax provides. You are reminded of Aamir Khan’s Lagaan. The fun quotient is high even here. As you watch eagerly, and naturally hoping that the characters wins the tie, director Shubham yogi ties up the story in knots. Ha! He takes you for a ride.

The progress of the movie is smooth and a worth a watch for the dose of heart warming moments that it has. Radhika Madan has her role cut out for her and is a scene stealer at times. Rajat barmecha and ayush mehra ensures with their acting that the audience do not get tired of him, although his friends and team mates might get on your nerves.

Unlike movies that are being released of late with cacophony that passes off as music, a couple of songs in this movie have both meaning and melody. The cinematography and Mumbai locales take the cake too.
