Chad Stahelski directed and Shay Hatten and Michael Finch wrote the American neo-noir action thriller film John Wick: Chapter 4. It is the fourth installment in the John Wick series and the follow-up to John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum (2019). It stars Keanu Reeves as the title character, with Donnie Yen, Bill Skarsgard, Laurence Fishburne, Hiroyuki Sanada, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick (in one of his final roles), Rina Sawayama, Scott Adkins, and Ian McShane in supporting roles. John Wick: Chapter 4 was originally scheduled to be released on May 21, 2021, but it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Few films in this genre are known for their intricate, layered dialogue or depth of feeling, and this isn’t an exception. However, there is no denying the artistry that went into its production.
The fourth installment of the John Wick series is a brutally violent, frequently bloody thriller starring Keanu Reeves as an assassin. Characters are shot, maimed, stabbed, beaten, threatened, killed with close-range firearms, blown to bits in an explosion, strangled with bare hands, and more.  Because so much of the violence is stylized and semi-glamorized, it’s best left to action fans. Surprisingly, it also has a sense of humor and fight scenes that are so well choreographed and fight scenes that are so thrillingly choreographed that it’s almost like watching balletβ€”albeit a gunshot-riddled, rough-and-tumble one. Dan Launsten frames are well-designed, the pace is quick and easy, and the fight scenes are choreographed like a ballet. It appears to be fantastic. And, despite being an action thriller, it contains a confident streak of humor that adds to its enjoyment.

Former stuntman Chad Stahelski directs and captures action in a way that few directors can. Stahelski makes the action linear and films it with a steady eye that allows you to appreciate every move and shot. The fight choreography, on the other hand, will establish John Wick: Chapter 4 as the father of all action films. Not only are martial arts riveting, but they also have a rhythm to them that makes them beautiful to watch no matter how brutal they become. Wick doesn’t waste a single bullet, make an unnecessary move, or exert any more effort than is required. His movements, like Reeves’, give the impression that he is an assassin.

What truly distinguishes this story are the characters and the drama that surrounds them as they navigate their way through this twisted world of crime where everyone is their only friend. Donnie Yen’s Caine and Shamier Anderson’s Mr Nobody both deliver fantastic performances. There are a lot of new characters introduced, and none of them feel like filler because they all bring something new and exciting to the table and help move the plot forward. And Keanu Reeves, who plays John Wick, a loving husband, demonstrates once more why his contribution to this role will be remembered forever as something that revolutionised action film-making.

Bottomline

A feast for action movie fans, Mind blowing!!
