HIT: The Third Case (or simply HIT 3) is a Indian Telugu-language action thriller film, written and directed by Sailesh Kolanu. Produced by Prashanti Tipirneni and Nani under Wall Poster Cinema and Unanimous Productions, the film stars Nani and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles, Adil Pala, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji and Maganti Srinath. It is third installment in the HIT Universe and the sequel to HIT: The Second Case (2022).
Nani’s latest film, helmed by Director Sailesh Kolanu, is a masterclass in delivering a potent mix of action, drama, and suspense that perfectly caters to audience expectations. The film’s greatest strength lies in its ability to elevate the stakes and deliver a thrilling experience, particularly in its electrifying final act.
The last 40 minutes are nothing short of stunning, with a blood-soaked path of violence that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. Logic takes a backseat as the film fearlessly embraces its brutal and bloody nature, making for an exhilarating watch that’s hard to look away from. The action-packed sequences are meticulously crafted, showcasing the cast’s physicality and intensity in standout blocks that leave a lasting impact.
Nani shines in his portrayal of Arjun Sarkar, delivering a memorable performance that steals the show. The cameos are seamlessly integrated, adding an extra layer of excitement to the film. Mickey Mayer’s background score is the perfect complement to the on-screen action, skillfully amplifying the tension and drama to keep the audience fully invested.
However, the film isn’t without its flaws. The love track feels somewhat jarring, disrupting the otherwise tense atmosphere, and the Squid Game-inspired sequences, while intriguing, don’t entirely fit into the film’s narrative. Additionally, the powerless villain and unclear purpose of the antagonist team are notable drawbacks that detract from the film’s overall impact.
Despite these minor missteps, the film’s visceral experience remains strong, effectively blending action and suspense to leave viewers enthralled. With its stunning action sequences, memorable performances, and effective score, it’s a must-watch for fans of intense thrillers and violence.
Bottomline
Stunning Bloody-brutal final 40 mins! Less investigation, more action-packed. Cameos & Arjun Sarkar’s charectrisation stole the show.
