What works

The director, P Kinslin has told the story in a way that starts from the mood of lady oroented movies and goes to the thriller mood. With a decent first half and an engaging second half, the film ups the ante with a twist towards the end. The last 20 minutes and the background score are a big plus for the film. The film has benefited from the excellent presentation of the director and excellent casting. Aishwarya Rajesh’s performance was okay though not career best. Quotation team and Aadukalam Naren did a great job. The background score in the final twist alone is enough to understand the music director Gibran’s talent. Although the emotional connection doesn’t work in the early scenes, it is improved in the climax.

What doesn’t work

Some scenes in the beginning of the movie did not give a natural feel due to over drama. The main drawback is that the clichΓ©d mood of women oriented films in the beginning sand it is not only rich in dramatic scenes, but also logic is not given place in the final moments of the film.

Bottomline

Surprisingly watchable thriller!!!
