Blind is a Hindi-language crime thriller film directed by Shome Makhija and produced by Sujoy Ghosh, Avishek Ghosh, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, Sachin Nahar, Pinkesh Nahar and Manish W. The film features Sonam Kapoor in a lead role. with Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lillete Dubey in supporting roles. Blind a remake of the 2011 Korean film of the same name

How can you add interest to a routine thriller? Make the main character incapacitated so that catching the bad guy requires more thought than force. The plot of “Blind” (2011) is as follows. This Korean movie was recreated in shome makhija’s “Blind,” which starred Sonam Kapoor.

‘Blind’ is a basic thriller, so be sure to have realistic expectations before viewing. We don’t notice the plot’s flaws due of the performances. The greatest of the bunch is Sonam Kapoor. She avoids stereotyping by maintaining the body language of a visually impaired person. She skillfully juggles this act with the characteristics of a Cop. She motivates us to cheer for her whether it’s in the dramatic or “mass” situations.

Aside from that, “Blind” features a cynical narrative and a weak villain. Purabh Kohli  is a good actor, but he is not suited for parts that require menace. The backstory of the adversary also fails to surprise us.

There is no justification for the movie’s two and a half hours of running time. ‘Blind’ relies extensively on graphic violence while promising to be a cerebral thriller, notably in the film’s climactic scene.

Bottomline

It’s a lackluster version ofΒ korean film “Blind”
