James Cameron‘s Avatar : The way of water will be released worldwide on Friday,December 16. Before that let’s take a look at some interesting facts about Avatar franchise…

The first part of Avatar hold the record ,The all time highest grosser in world cinema, so sequel had sky rocket expectations there. So James Cameron made the film with mega budget, This film will hold the record of being the highest budget film in the world before its release. The fourth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Stranger Tides, is the most expensive film in the world, with a budget of 379 million, while Avatar II has a budget of 390 to 420 million.

James Cameron is planning to release a total of 5 parts in Avatar and the second part is going to release tomorrow. The shooting of the third part is 90% complete and ready for release. The film will release on 24th December 2024.

Avatar, the first part of this franchise, was released in 2009. I think everyone knows the story of that movie. While that movie takes place in 2154, this movie takes place 13 years later in 2170. Those avatars who lived on the planet Pandora live in a water trap and a group comes to attack them. It was almost 13 years later that Cameron took a risk and made a project. That too with very risky underwater motion capture technology. Another interesting thing is that all the actors who played in the 2009 movie Avatar are back in this movie and Kate Winslet is a newcomer in this movie.

In 2009, Avatar was released in India only in English, while the film released in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu, all major languages with running time 3hour 12 minute 42 seconds in IMAX, 4DMAX, 3D, and was a massive release in 150 languages worldwide. Avatar:The way of water will be released in 52000 theaters worldwide is the biggest movie release ever. When Avatar, released in 2009, is standing as a miracle even after 14 years, what did James Cameron have in mind for Avatar 2..?
