What works
Attention please is a cinematic piece that begins with a short film mood and ends with a thrilling chorus. The director thrills the moviegoer with only one location and 6 characters by combining many stories within the story. The director, jithin issac thomas has done his role beautifully by telling the story with many layers in different perceptives and exploiting the solo performance of the actor Vishnu Govind.
His role is not small in keeping the film thrilling at first and dialogue delivery plays a big role in keeping the movie thrilling till the end.
The dialogues add depth to the film’s story with many layers. It can be said that there has been no other film in recent times that has communicated the dialogue between the audience and the writer so powerfully. Himal mohan has improved the film by preparing excellent camera views in a single location. Re-recording techniques that create lightning flashes during storytelling have also yielded results.
What not works
The weakness of the film is that the performances of the co-actors fail to support Vishnu Govind. The fact that it does not do justice to cinematic methods beyond the dialogue between the audience and the narrator does not mean that the film should appeal to all types of audience.
