Vikrant Rona is an Indian Kannada-language action adventure fantasy film directed by Anup Bhandari. It stars Sudeep as the titular character alongside Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok, and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Expectations
Sudeep-Anup Bhandari combo is the main attraction of the movie. Anup bhandari is a director with a special fanbase right from his debut film Rangi Taranga.
Vikrant Rona is coming to the pan India level in the Mystery Thriller Genre which is Anup bhandari’s Safe Zone. Although there is a huge expectation in the Kannada film industry, the reception of the film in other industries will depend on word of mouth publicity.
What works
In order to tell a suspenseful story, the director Anup bhandari constructed a new world. The visual effects are also quite important and look fantastic. The first fifteen minutes of the film are excellent at setting up the plot. Finally, the execution of the finale and the manner in which the murderer is identified is quite good.
Sudeep is a further valuable asset due to his outstanding performance. Sudeep did a great job of carrying the movie on his shoulders. He appears quite fit and performed admirably during the climax. The supporting cast also did well in their respective roles. Nirup Bhandari gets a meaty role and does well.
The film’s incredible production values are among its greatest strengths. The scene and the environment that have been built seem pretty intriguing and give the viewer a feeling of tension. The core of the movie is the camerawork that highlights the forest scenes and the mesmerizing BGM.
What not works
The film’s excessive length is one of its main flaws. To improve the viewing experience, the movie needs to be cut for at least fifteen minutes straight. The audience is bored by the love track and Sudeep’s method of case investigation. In order to confuse the audience more, the narration goes haywire and creates more confusion for the audience, Even the intermission blast has little effect.
The script for a suspenseful movie needs to be compelling, but that is not the case in this instance. It is excellent in some crucial parts, but there is a lag in the remainder of the sequences that eventually drags down the entire picture.

Watchable fantasy-action-adventure-thriller that visually stunning!!!
