Vaazha is a Malayalam language film directed by Anand Menon and written by Vipin Das.
Vaazha is the story of a group of young people, as the title suggests, a biopic of billions. The film is about four friends deemed ‘losers’ who face immense pressure from parents and society upon entering adulthood. Their emotional tale sees them embark on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance, where love ultimately triumphs over judgement.
Without a doubt, the main attraction of Vaazha is the performances of the stars. From the actors who played the role of my father, everyone who played a small role contributed to the film. The film is a gathering of a group of young actors who are trending in contemporary Malayalam cinema.
Jayajaya jayahe, Guruvayoor Ambala nadayil fame director Vipin Das’s story, moulded by newcomer director Anand Menon, has dressed up in a way to attract the youth. The film presents a feast of laughter to the audience. The key factor is that there are elements that young people can relate to it.Β The music director has proved his excellence by composing music to elevate the mood of the story.
After the first half, which is at the peak of entertainment, the film takes a turn towards an emotional angle. Although the flow of the story will be affected, the said second half being closer to reality and being relatable has benefited the film. In the end, the movie felt incomplete but was totally good to watch.
Bottomline
The first half was a laugh-riot. The second nd half goes to an emotional track, and Climax seems incomplete, but overall, good to watch!!
Relatable to all the boys is the key behind this light-hearted entertainer.
