Onam is always the best season at the Kerala box office. Mollywood has always given unforgettable hits on Onam, which is why many movies are being prepared for the release of the Onam season. This year, four movies are ready to release. Dulquer’s King of Kotha, RDX was produced by Friday Movies after Minnal Murali and Hanef Adeni-Nivin Pauly’s Ramachandra Boss & Co. While the other two films are coming on August 25th, King of Kotha is coming a day earlier, on August 24, as a solo release, capturing most of the theatres in Kerala.
KING OF KOTHA
In terms of budget, hype, and promotion, Dulquer’s King of Kotha is far ahead of other Onam films. Directed by Abhilash Joshi and starring Dulquer Salmaan,Prasanna, Anikha, and Aishwarya Lekshmi,Gokulsuresh etc. King of Kotha will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The movie is expected to have the biggest opening in Malayalam cinema.
RDX
Directed by Nahas Hidhayath under the banner of Weekend Blockbusters, RDX features Antony Varghese, Shane nigm, and Neeraj madhav and Mahima nambiar in lead roles. Discussions about Anbu Arivu’s action are already active on social media. The released songs and the trailer have already grabbed attention.
RAMACHANDRA BOSS & CO
Ramachandra Bos&Co is a film where Hanif Adeni and Nivin Pauly team up after the flop Mikhael. Even though the promotion is lagging behind, the film has a stellar star cast. Nivin Pauly and current Sensation Mamitha baijucare part of the film. The success of Boss & Co. is inevitable for Nivin Pauly, who is at a low point in his career.
