Bawaal is a Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari, and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Earthsky Pictures. It stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor as a troubled married couple.

Another promising movie from the hands of Dangal and Chichore. Just like Nitish Tiwari’s last two films had something to say to society, Bawaal has something to say, albeit less in quantity.

The horrors of World War II and contemporary life are discussed there. Nitesh tiwari depicts how the visuals and realisations of the Second World War, which match international standards, can add strength to this romantic drama. When Mitesh mirchandani’s camera eyes combine with Daniel George’s background music and Nitesh’s making, it tends to be a heart-melting romantic drama. 

Janhvi Kapoor was an asset to the film, which was full of feel-good romantic moments. This is probably the most memorable role of Jhanvi’s career so far. Even when Varun Dhawan is at his best in the role, he is overshadowed by Jhanvi, maybe because of Jhanvi’s character depth. At the end of the movie, the audience misses this duo.
