Maruthi Nagar Police Station is a Tamil movie released on 19 May, 2023. The movie is directed by Dayal Padmanabhan and featured Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Santhosh Prathap, Mahat Raghavendra and Subramaniam Siva as lead characters. Other popular actors who were roped in for Maruthi Nagar Police Station are Amit Bhargava and Vivek Rajgopal.

Maruthi Nagar Police Station is getting stuck in execution flaws, starting with a slow rhythm and proceeding predictably through a non-trusting narration. But the twists and turns at regular intervals save the film, along with Aarav’s mature performance and the twist-rich second half.

Despite having actors who have the capability to perform, the director fails to utilise them properly. For example, Mahat and Santhosh Prathap, the director kept the actors with capabilities as a mere spectator. Not only was the music not up to par, it didn’t support the film properly. The film is moving on the shoulders of Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar and Aarav.What makes it watchable are the unexpected twists and turns that keep coming at regular intervals.

 Constant surprises saved the film from getting bogged down in execution errors..
